Specifications for the use of vinyl chloride compressors
Vinyl chloride compressors are special compressors used in the production process of fine chemical intermediates. In addition to incineration and explosion, acetylene gas can also undergo simple differentiation and polymerization reactions under high pressure and certain temperature, leading to explosions. Therefore, it is particularly important to pay attention to its application safety.
The usage specifications of vinyl chloride compressors are mainly as follows:
1) The installation and use of vinyl chloride compressors must comply with the operating instructions and relevant specifications.
2) If the vinyl chloride compressor is used for pressurized transportation, special attention should be paid to checking the working pressure and temperature of the container (pipeline), and whether it can work normally under the exhaust pressure and supply temperature of the compressor.
3) Before the vinyl chloride compressor is officially put into use, it should be replaced with nitrogen in strict accordance with the requirements of the dissolved acetylene station or related operations, and it can be officially put into use only after reaching the specified purity. When replacing, the purge valve and the valve on the body should be opened in turn for purge.
4) When repairing or replacing parts, nitrogen should be used first. After the acetylene gas content is lower than the standard, the machine can be disassembled for repair or replacement. After repairing or replacing parts, nitrogen should be replaced first, and it can be put into use again after the purity is qualified. The purity analysis of each replacement should be no less than 3 times.
5) Technical workers must be familiar with the structure, principle and safe operating procedures of the compressor. Only those who pass the examination and hold an operating certificate can take up the post. There should be no less than 2 people on duty per shift, and the operation records should be kept on time.
6) Vinyl chloride compressor must operate under normal working conditions.
7) All equipment and piping systems must be tight and leak-free, and operate under positive pressure. Negative pressure is not allowed.
8) When using a regular brand of lubricant, stop mixing lubricants of different brands. Filter when refueling.
9) Safety valves and instruments should be accurate and checked regularly.
10) When operating the valve, it should be as slow as possible and not too hasty to avoid the risk of local heating. When opening and closing the manual drain valves of the compressor at all levels, the action should be slow and not open and close suddenly.
