What lubrication methods are used in compressors?

According to the characteristics of the compressor structure, different ways of lubrication can be used, including the following situations:

1. Pressure lubrication method - using machinery (such as oil pump, oil injector) to automatically apply lubricating oil to the parts under pressure, also called pressure lubrication method. This method is used in large and medium-sized compressors with crossheads.

2. Splash lubrication method - the oil is splashed to various lubrication parts by the oiling rod installed on the connecting rod, so the cylinder and the moving mechanism can only use the same lubricating oil. This method is mostly used in small compressors without crossheads. Its disadvantage is that the oil is not easy to filter and the oil level must be strictly controlled.

3. Spray lubrication method - the sprayed oil mist follows the gas into the cylinder and other lubrication locations, such as high-pressure compressors, vane compressors and screw compressors all use oil spray lubrication.

4. Oil dripping lubrication method - use the oil cup and oil pipeline to deliver the lubricating oil to the parts that need to be refueled, or add lubricating oil with an oil pot on time.

5. Oil ring lubrication method - the rotating shaft drives the oil ring which is movably sleeved on the shaft, and the oil ring brings the oil in the oil pool into the bearing for circulating lubrication.
