Safe use of vinyl chloride compressors

Vinyl chloride compressor is a special compressor used in the production of fine chemical intermediates. In addition to burning and exploding, acetylene gas will also undergo simple differentiation and polymerization reactions under high pressure and a certain temperature, resulting in an explosion. Therefore, it is particularly important to pay attention to its application security.

(1) The installation and use of vinyl chloride compressors must comply with the operating instructions and relevant specifications.

(2) If the vinyl chloride compressor is used for pressurized transportation, special attention should be paid to checking the working pressure and temperature of the container (pipe), and whether it can work normally under the compressor's discharge pressure and supply air temperature.

(3) Before the vinyl chloride compressor is officially put into use, nitrogen replacement should be carried out in strict accordance with the dissolving acetylene station or related operating requirements, and the specified purity can be officially put into use. When replacing, open the purge valve and the valve on the fuselage in turn to purge.

(4) When repairing or replacing parts, replace them with nitrogen first. After the acetylene gas content is lower than the standard, the machine can be disassembled for repair or replacement. After repairing or replacing parts, the nitrogen should be replaced first, and it can be put into use only after the purity is qualified. The purity analysis for each replacement should be no less than 3 times.

(5) Technical workers must be familiar with the structure, principle and safe operation rules of the compressor, and only those who have passed the examination and hold the operation certificate can take up the post. There should be no less than two people on duty in each shift, and keep operational records on time.

(6) Vinyl chloride compressors must be operated under normal working conditions.

(7) All equipment and piping systems must be tight and leak-free, maintain positive pressure operation, and do not allow negative pressure.

(8) When it is necessary to use lubricants with regular trademarks, stop mixing lubricants with different trademarks. Filter when refueling.

(9) Safety valves and instruments should be accurate and checked regularly.

(10) When operating the valve, it should be as slow as possible and not too hasty to avoid the danger of local heating. When opening and closing the manual drain valve at all levels of the compressor, the action should be slow, and do not suddenly open and close.
