Ammonia compressor is the driving unit of cryogenic pump system or other refrigeration unit, used to provide helium to cryogenic pump or other refrigeration unit.

When the compressor starts, the motor current will be 5-6 times higher than the rated current, which will not only affect the service life of the motor but also consume more electricity. When designing the system, a certain margin will be left in the motor selection, and the motor speed is fixed. However, in actual use, it is sometimes necessary to run at a lower or higher speed, so it is very necessary to carry out frequency conversion transformation. The frequency converter can realize the soft start of the motor, achieve the purpose of energy saving and speed regulation by changing the input voltage frequency of the equipment, and can provide the equipment with over-current, over-voltage, overload and other protection functions.

The packaging and transportation of compressors can be handled according to the contract provisions. Large quantities of imported compressors are generally packed in cartons and then shipped in containers. The compressors should be firmly fixed in the packaging box and have moisture-proof and shock-proof measures. They are not allowed to be inverted during storage and transportation, and should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse with a relative humidity of no more than 80 percent and no corrosive gases.

The sealing rubber plug is allowed to be pulled out only when the compressor is in use. If the plug is found to be detached or loose during storage and transportation, it should be checked and handled in time before storage.
